Seattle Seahawks defensive end Greg Scruggs has revealed that the Super Bowl champions keep a whale in captivity at the VMAC in Renton.
No, not a real whale. It’s a joke.
In an Instagram video posted Wednesday, Scruggs gave his followers an inside look at the Seahawks’ “aquarium” at their training facility, where they “keep some of their whales.” The video then cuts to a shot of defensive tackle Brandon Mebane swimming in the team’s lap pool.
“Bet y’all didn’t know we had an aquarium,” Scruggs wrote in the Instagram post. “We named this whale Brandon and (Bruce Irvin) is feeding him.”
That’s not too nice. Mebane is listed at 6-foot-1 and 311 pounds … of all muscle, right?
