Seattle Seahawks defensive end Greg Scruggs has looked like an entirely different person so far during OTA’s. With no remaining signs of the torn ACL he suffered last May, Scruggs is looking to prove he belongs in what has become a deep defensive line rotation in Seattle. So far, the former Louisville Cardinal has certainly looked the part.
At 6-foot-3, 310 pounds, Scruggs has the size and athleticism to play every position along Seattle’s defensive front. So far, it appears Head Coach Pete Carroll intends to use Scruggs similarly to former Seahawk fan-favorite Red Bryant; playing a blend of defensive tackle and defensive end.
